The Beast’s Gambit combines Iron Maiden trivia with a bank-or-risk decision. Correct answers build an unbanked stash. After a successful answer, decide whether to protect those points or carry them into the next question for a chance at a stronger streak multiplier.

How to play The Beast’s Gambit

A wrong answer costs a life and wipes the unbanked stash, but points already banked remain safe. Every three consecutive correct answers raises the multiplier. Banking resets that streak, so an apparently easy next question can tempt you to keep going. Completing the final round automatically banks whatever remains. This is an arcade points game with no money or prizes.

In arcade games, use P to pause, H for the control guide, R to restart and Esc to return to the arcade. The bracket keys switch games. These shortcuts are disabled while you are typing in a form.

Choose your difficulty before starting

Every game offers Easy, Normal, Hard and Nightmare. A run keeps the difficulty chosen at the start, and personal bests are stored separately for each tier in your browser. To change an active run’s difficulty, return to setup and begin again.

A useful starting strategy

Decide your banking rule before you start. Protecting a good stash is often better than treating every streak as a reason to risk one more answer.
