Read all four choices before answering. Your response locks the question, then feedback reveals the answer and an official discography source. The fuse runs during questions and pauses during feedback, so you can learn from a mistake before continuing. A growing correct-answer streak increases scoring bonuses, while remaining lives keep you from guessing your way through every round.

Every game offers Easy, Normal, Hard and Nightmare. A run keeps the difficulty chosen at the start, and personal bests are stored separately for each tier in your browser. To change an active run’s difficulty, return to setup and begin again.
| Difficulty | What changes |
|---|---|
| Easy | Eight rounds, five lives, larger time rewards and smaller time penalties. |
| Normal | Ten rounds, three lives and a balanced fuse penalty. |
| Hard | Twelve rounds, two lives and harsher penalties. |
| Nightmare | Fifteen rounds, one life and the least forgiving fuse settings. |
